Vasectomy is a surgical method of birth control applied to men. It is applied by cutting, binding or sealing the sperm ducts. The sperm produced in the testicles are first discharged into the urethra, known as the urinary canal in the penis, and then out. As a result of this surgery, sperm is prevented from entering the urethra. As a result of this process, the sperms do not mix with the semen, that is, there is no sperm in the incoming semen. In a sense, vasectomy is the safe and effective surgical procedure of birth control.
