How is Butt Aesthetics Performed?

Depending on the patient's condition and the current structure of the buttock, fat injection, prosthesis use or one of the methods of stretching-lifting is used in buttock aesthetics.

It is also possible to benefit from these methods at the same time and in the same session in cases where necessary.

Operation Methods

Fat Injection

Buttock shaping method with fat injection into the hip is a frequently used aesthetic procedure. It is preferred because it takes a short time, the operation and the aftermath are effortless, and the results are very striking.

With the Vaser Liposuction method, the waist, back and hip parts can be thinned and shaped, and the transition to the hip area can be made more aesthetic. Thus, the hip becomes more rounded and narrower.

Thanks to Vaser Liposuction, the fats containing stem cells, which are taken without any damage, are injected into the butt, and the buttock is achieved in a more permanent way in the same session.

After the operation, there may be mild pain that can be relieved with painkiller tablets. A 1 night hospital stay is usually recommended. Those who have vaser liposuction together with butt fat injection should use a special corset for 3 weeks. Patients can return to their routine life in 3-5 days.

Buttock Prosthesis

Silicone prostheses can also be used for butt lift and volume enlargement. After the operation, an average of 6-8 cm scar remains in the middle of the hip, which will remain hidden between the folds.

The recovery period is slightly more painful and longer than the fat injection operation. The result can be more natural and effective if the prostheses placed on the butt are shaped with the fat removed by vaser liposuction.

Butt Lift

Lifting and stretching operations should be performed on the buttocks that sag rapidly and with excessive weight gain or loss or with advancing age. If necessary, excess skin is removed and filling is performed.

The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. One night hospital stay is required. Stitches are removed in the 2nd week. It is possible to return to normal life 15 days after the operation.

Heavy sports should be avoided for 45 days. After 30 days, light sports such as walking and cardio can be started. The scars formed after butt lift-stretching surgery may fade over time and remain unclear.

Who Can Have Butt Aesthetics?

Buttock aesthetics is especially suitable for people who have lost their natural shape, have a flat, sagging, asymmetrical structure, and have a small butt compared to their body proportion. Which method should be preferred for the operation is decided by a doctor's examination.

Pre-Surgery Considerations

As in all surgeries in general, it is highly recommended to avoid blood thinners, reduce smoking and alcohol use as much as possible, and not use them at all, especially in the last days, before butt lift surgery.

Post-Surgery Considerations

The points to be considered after the surgery vary according to the method applied. If a prosthesis was used or fat injection was applied by liposuction method, a medical corset should be worn after the operation.

Patients using prostheses should lie face down and be careful while sitting and standing. In addition, if a buttock prosthesis was used in the operation, the patient should never have an injection from the hip.

Healing Process

According to his method, it may be necessary to stay in the hospital for one night after the surgery. After the operation, a special medical corset is worn for 3-4 weeks to reduce oedema formation and get the best result. There may be difficulty in moving for a few days after the operation, mild tingling and pain.

What Are the Risks Related to Buttock Aesthetic Surgery?

There are no risks different from those in other known surgical operations. However, if a prosthesis is placed in the hip area, problems such as being visible from the sides or displacement may be encountered due to severe traumas.
